Baker Tilly are running some seminars in conjunction with the London Stock Exchange and Brewin Dolphin. This series of comprehensive seminars is aimed at anyone who is considering flotation on the stock market in order to raise funds to facilitate the growth of their business, enhance their profile or increase their liquidity.



Seminar Overview



At the seminar attendees will receive advice on the benefits of floating on a public market focusing specifically on AIM and the Main Market. it will also look at the role of the various advisors involved in a flotation pointing out the pitfalls and passing on the wisdom of their experience. Finally attendees will hear from PLC Directors on their experiences of both the flotation process and life as a quoted company.



As a Director of a company who is considering its options for growth and fund raising then this seminar will enable them to:



· find out what a flotation could do;

· hear how the process would work and what would be required of directors and the company;

· ask relevant and pertinent questions to a panel of experts;

· gain from the experiences of some company directors who have been through the process of flotation on a public market

· network with people with similar aspirations.

Speaker profiles:

Stephen Falder, Executive Director, Byotrol plc

As Business Director for Byotrol Stephen's role is to ensure that the benefits of Byotrol technology are brought to bear in the most effective and profitable way in the company's chosen markets. As Deputy Chairman, Stephen uses his knowledge as inventor of the product and a senior executive director combined, to inform shareholders and investors as appropriate and to represent the Chairman when he is in the United States.

Graduated from Kings College London in 1981. He joined H Marcel Guest Ltd as part of the marketing and sales team In 1982 and he was head of the team that started Bradite Paints Limited in North Wales. In1990 he was made a full board director of H. Marcel Guest and spearheaded the development team forming or assisting with the formation of several new specialty coatings businesses, including H M G America LLC. He was a leader of the development program that resulted in Byotrol's discovery, development and ultimately the formation of Byotrol plc in 2005.

Stephen is married to Christine with three children: Matthew, Sarah & Rebecca. He is Chairman of Community Forest North West, an environmental Charity in North West England and an active member of the CBI and the Institute of Family Business

In his spare time Stephen has contrasting hobbies: from high explosives - he is a partner is a small specialist Firework Display Company to small pieces of old metal - he is a keen collector of Roman and ancient coins and is proud to be a Fellow of the Royal Numismatic Society.

Rob Cotton, Chief Executive, NCC Group plc

Rob Cotton has been Chief Executive since 2003, having joined the Group as Finance Director and Managing Director of Escrow in 2000. He steered the Group through its move to the London Stock Exchange's main market in July 2007 following admission to AIM in July 2004, and through a management buy-out in April 2003. As well as delivering consistent organic growth in revenue and profits, he has instigated and overseen a series of strategic expansion plans including the acquisition of complementary businesses worldwide.

A qualified chartered accountant, he previously held a number of director and senior management positions in industry.
